February 2018 edit

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

6 months have now passed, and I am informed on Wikipedia's polices and guidelines and more than willing to adhere to them at all times. I ask that I may be given a chance, to show that I'm a useful and valuable contributor. Note: I was told to post this on Tarook97's talk here, but I have since forgotten the password to that account, and I couldn't reset it because the account doesn't have a linked email.

Decline reason:

As you write this, you are socking. See Javiero Fernandez (talk · contribs · count). Bbb23 (talk) 15:24, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Bbb23, since I've been socking with that account, I would just like to ask, what now? Do I have a chance of being unblocked in the future or have I completely lost the trust of fellow Wikipedians and admins? Thank you. Swazzo (talk) 00:01, 20 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Drmies, hopefully I'll get a response from you? Swazzo (talk) 03:20, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Well, typically we reset the clock, meaning one can try again in six months. Sorry, but I don't understand this. You want to be legit but actively undermine the road that leads to legitimacy. Drmies (talk) 04:08, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Drmies, I just used a meat puppet to edit a few articles. The articles are Template:Arab culture, Template:Historical Arab states and dynasties, Arabs and Arabic music. I completely understand how low of me this is and if you have zero trust in me from now on. I just have a request, in Template:Arab culture, the first edit has my and someone's personal information (real names and emails), would you please remove them from the article's edit history? Just that, and i'll stay off Wikipedia as I don't deserve a place here. Thank you Drmies, thank you for bearing up with my shenanigans. Goodbye. Swazzo (talk) 00:43, 30 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Done. Ha, what were you thinking? Don't do it again, alright? Take care, Drmies (talk) 01:36, 30 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Drmies, I know this is stupid, I do, but could you maybe think of giving the edit on Arabs a look? It has valuable (and sourced) improvements that I've been working on for months which I don't think have been made to the article since its creation. I'm only posting this as I hope you can see that although this whole thing is obviously wrong, it wasn't done in a disruptive or malicious intent, but to genuinely improve the articles/templates in a way thousands of non-blocked users/IPs haven't. Also, since WP:EVASION addresses this as well , "This does not mean that edits must be reverted just because they were made by a blocked editor (obviously helpful changes, such as fixing typos or undoing vandalism, can be allowed to stand)". Swazzo (talk) 03:02, 30 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
No, sorry, I can't do that. I am not one to revert on sight just because I can, but I am also not going to be a proxy one way or another. That's the thing: you have to bite your tongue for the while. Best, Drmies (talk) 03:04, 30 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
I completely understand, and I'm sorry, for all of this. Swazzo (talk) 03:10, 30 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

March 2019 edit

@Drmies: as you may have known already, I got caught socking, again. I...I'd like to believe that I'm a valuable contributor, the only problem is that I was socking. I've (mostly) turned away from controversial topics into music, and it wasn't to not get caught. It's because I convinced myself that editing controversial topics is stressful and useless. I don't want to waste anymore of your time...do I still have a chance? after 6 months? I'm sick of socking and I give you my word that I will no longer use any account other than this. Miraculously, you still saw the good in me during this and that's really...I don't know...I'm and idiot. Thanks, Drmies. Swazzo (talk) 18:01, 17 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • (For those of you who are coming at this from this end: see here.) I don't know what to tell you except the same thing I said last time. The exact same thing, actually...valid contributions blah blah...no more socking blah blah... Take care, Drmies (talk) 16:12, 18 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
    • @Drmies: I know that I keep saying the same thing, I know. Forgive me as I've never been really good with words. I just wanted to know if I have a chance of being unblocked in the future? that's all. You could've just ignored me but you replied, and I feel like a fucking piece of shit for doing this. Swazzo (talk) 17:57, 18 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
      • Same thing: if we see you in six months, you have a good chance, or at least a chance. If we see you earlier, well you know. Drmies (talk) 19:17, 18 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
