Hello, Swallowandrew8, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Article issues

I removed your additions to the Attention (advertising) article because they were flagged by as being copied verbatim from several sources. Your contributions to Wikipedia need to be entirely your own phrasing - copying like this is both copyright infringement and plagiarism.

In addition, the tone of your additions wasn't appropriate for Wikipedia - don't use the first or second person in your writing. Your work should be descriptive, not conversational. Finally, everything you add to Wikipedia need a supporting source. Don't add content that doesn't have an inline reference. Thanks. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:25, 15 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
