So wikipedia hasn't changed much. I spend 40 minutes updating a page about a new major £3 million investment in the area of digital humanities analogous to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Department_of_Digital_Humanities,_King%27s_College_London and some random person deletes my work and offers redirect. Because wikipedia. How about doing some basic research into how big the scale of that investment is, or how it is comparable to other research centres in the same area which you already have entries on.... Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Sussex Humanities Lab. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Calling me a moron when I'm trying to help is a personal attack. • I think you need to lay off new users with the over-eager deletion policy. By all means make new people drafters, and make their articles draft subject to review, but this speed of clean-up and removal is a serious disincentive to add anything. And completely a waste of my time. As regards your internal weird language policing, I really am not interested, the issue is the speed of deletion. I won't be back.
