This bio talks about the person that the town of Zahl was named after and town write up was posted/approved by Wikipedia back in March of this year. The last line of my write up reflects that the town of Zahl was named after Doc Zahl who was a notible homesteader, Sheriff, US Marshal and Mayor of Williston ND........... "At the time of Doc's death, February 10, 1918, he was operating a large cattle ranch near the town in North Dakota which bears his name."

hope that helps out

Just curious... do you know of any seismic recordings that were picked up closer to the epicenter? Columbia was pretty far from the action. Binksternet (talk) 18:06, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
I got your email note but I will respond here. Yes, I know how to put an image in the article. I don't know if the one you have selected is the best one for the article, as it shows up very tiny in thumbnail mode. Binksternet (talk) 18:29, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Here's how to format the image so that it shows up on the left side. Binksternet (talk) 23:58, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
