Dams in Maharashtra

edit

Hello Suresh.andhale, I noticed you made a whole bunch of dam articles. I think they are good starts and am glad you included a reference in each. I see you are interested in dams and wanted to let you know we have WikiProject Dams which is centered around dam-related articles. If you would like to join, feel free. The project also has tags for article talk pages. The tags help assess how many dam articles are out there and what their status is. You find out more about the tags at Wikipedia:WikiProject Dams/Assessment. You can also tag your article creations as well. If you have an questions, comments or ideas, let me know!--NortyNort (Holla) 02:36, 31 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hey, check out the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Man-made lentic water bodies of Maharashtra. The users there think it would be a good idea to rename the article and expand it. This area of India seems to be your expertise and I thought you would be highly interested in the subject.--NortyNort (Holla) 04:09, 26 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Godavari Dam

edit

Hello Suresh!

I was trying to add geocode location of this subject dam, but couldn't find it anywhere on the map. Well... there is a fairly good chance that it hasn't been marked on map and hence isn't available. But i tried searching on http://india-wris.nrsc.gov.in also, but found none. However, there is a Bhavali Dam which is close to Igatpuri and also built on Darna river. Bhavali is also available on map. Do you think the Bhavali Dam is actually misnamed here as Godavari Dam? §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 06:39, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
