Additional points to note

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Wikipedia formatting edit

Hi. I see you're creating the article Rhumb Line (board game), and I just want to offer you some help with formatting text. Specifically, Wikipedia doesn't require html tags, like "br". If you just type the blank lines as you need them, they'll work fine - you can see the way I've made a few changes. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 21:27, 21 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Also, please note that a rhumb line is *not* the shortest distance between two points on a globe - have a read of Rhumb line. A rhumb line is a straight line on a mercator projection (map), such that it crosses all lines of longitude at a constant angle - rhumb lines trace spiral paths across a globe. Taking into account the curvature of the earth, the shortest distance between two points is on a great circle route. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 21:33, 21 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mojo - notability edit

Hello,
You've removed the 'notability' tag several times from the article Mojo (board game). But the article does not provide any references which establish the notability of the game.
The Wikipedia notability guideline (Wikipedia:Notability) requires the subjects of articles to have "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject". Of the references provided, gamesaboveboard.webstarts.com appears to be the designer or publisher of the game, and www.boardgamegeek.com is a user-editable website. Unfortunately, these do not form reliable sources (see Wikipedia:Reliable sources).
Please either leave the notability tag in place, or add some reliable third-party sources. --David Edgar (talk) 17:15, 30 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Maintenance tags edit

Hi, I restored the tags you removed from Chord Board. They're not punitive; they simply identify opportunities to improve. Please don't remove them unless you or another editor has addressed the issue first. Thanks! --AndrewHowse (talk) 17:58, 18 January 2011 (UTC) PS Are you connected in some way to the editor User:KeokeClark? --AndrewHowse (talk) 17:58, 18 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
