Power Points edit
i recently put up a merge tag on Power Points and since you were one of the last editors thought you may want to comment (actually, no one's said nething yet, so i'm kind of begging here for some opinions b/c a lot of work has been done). -Zappernapper 07:33, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
DNA Replication edit
At the moment that page is a bit of a mess: it looks like an undergraduate biology student has rephrased their lecture notes.
I will try my best over the next few months to get it better - as I learn more, I shall get it all in. I am a chemistry undergraduate student pretty much learning it from scratch as part of a medicinal chemistry module - and no biology beyond GCSE!
Also I haven't checked but see if there is an A level biology wikibook, or a GCSE one ( I'm sure there is a GCSE one ).
For the meantime, if you need AS level notes then http://www.biologyguide.net/bya3/bya3-12-5.htm seems ok, and for GCSE then the CGP book covers it well www.cgpbooks.co.uk. I assume you're fine with that however ;) Arthmelow 20:07, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
I noticed your comment on Wikipedia:WikiProject User scripts regarding the 3RR. Rest assured that if you are reverting obvious vandalism, your edits are not subject to the three revert rule. As it states "Reverting simple and obvious vandalism, such as graffiti or page blanking" is an exception. So in other words, keep up the good work knocking down the vandals and don't worry about the count when reverting obvious vandalism. If a vandal continues after a final warning, report him/her to WP:AIV and an admin will take a look. Thanks, auburnpilot talk 21:42, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Notability of Helen Cutter edit
A tag has been placed on Helen Cutter, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SyBerWoLff 21:12, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- I removed your prod because I don't entirely agree with the idea of the article being deleted without discussion; plus, the last AfD was about two weeks ago. I made a new AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of diss songs (2nd nomination). JuJube 00:22, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Wasn't experimenting edit
Hello Stwalkerster, On my talk page, you wrote to let me know that my "experiments" on Broadneck High School's article were reverted. You couldn't have known this, but I am a student at Broadneck, and I added information (with citations), corrected typographical errors, and organized article information more logically, as well as removing vandalism. If you truly feel that my edits were not constructive, you are encourage by Wikipedia polices (see Help:Reverting) to improve upon, rather than revert, the edits. Connor Gilbert 02:11, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Got your reply. I thought that the revert might have been from an automated tool, but I didn't know whether it was a manual action. Thanks for the reply, no hard feelings. Connor Gilbert 02:05, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

- Hi - generally, I'd say that, with me being marked as busy on my user page (and in any case), an untimely manner would be greater than one week, after which point other admins will generally process requests on my behalf. Often I find myself without the time to process approvals quickly, with the work of programming other bots and keeping on top of a rising pile of work :). Thanks, Martinp23 20:07, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank You Very Much edit
Thank you very much for that barnstar. It's nice to know my actions don't go unnoticed. Hopefully my work and the work of many others like me will continue to ensure that Wikipedia remains a reliable source of information. Once again, Thank You. Xtreme racer 22:34, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
aiv edit
Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you. — coelacan — 22:23, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Be Careful with your rv's edit
This edit actually re-added a whole bunch of earlier vandaism back into the Iron Maiden article. I am guess you were simply reading the "Jamaican slang" lingo that someone incorrectly re-wrote into "semi" proper English(it's supposed to be written in the Caribbean slang) and didn't notice all the other vandalised text was rv'd back into the article. It's been repaired. 156.34.220.145 20:19, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Reverting vandalism edit
Umm, thank you for your comment, but please can you point me to where you think I went wrong? Philip Trueman 15:00, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- Nick norrman, which is a vandalism page (tagged for speedy) anyway, which i didnt realise. you reverted it using popups. jusk click on the history but at the top, and i'm sure you'll be able ti find it! Stwalkerster 15:04, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- The purpose of my revert was not to remove vandalism, but to restore the speedy tag, which the vandal had removed. Philip Trueman 15:07, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't realise. Thanks for that. Stwalkerster 15:09, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. Philip Trueman 15:12, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't realize it. I am new to wikipedia, which is why i put it up again. I thought it was an accident. Thank you! Have a good one!
