Hello, thank you for noticing my post. I can see why you would construe it as vandalism based on the section title; in reality it was satire targeting the continual disruptive edits by a politically charged editor that Abrazame has been helping to combat. I wanted to thank him for his efforts in doing so, having been involved with that editor myself on one occasion, but probably should have chosen a different title. I am going to repost my comment to his talk page with a title a little less... inflammatory. Again, thanks for checking in-- you make a good point-- and welcome to Wikipedia. Here, if you want to put userboxes on your page, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Userboxes

Be sure to add these to your userpage:

Hey. edit

I see from your contributions that you are doing a pretty good job. Make sure you check this page out so you can familiarize yourself with our policies and guidelines (something which, ironically, I haven't completely done myself). Normally you would recieve a message with information for new users on your talk page once you signed up, but it seems as if the welcoming comittee missed you. In any case, please keep on contributing, and thank you for your help with the vandals. - Raziel  teatime  19:58, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rollback edit

Per your request I've granted the tool. Please fully review WP:RBK or ask me if you need help. Pedro :  Chat  14:57, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you keep doing things like this, it will be taken away again. Gurch (talk) 17:11, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

April 2009 edit

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If the user continues to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you! I blocked that user in November. Blueboy96 19:51, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

warning templates.. edit

Make sure to give users warning templates when you revert vandalism like you did here. It looks like you have been adding warnings some (most?) of the time. Let me know if you have any questions- it appears you are sort of a new user, it takes a bit to get into the swing of things. tedder (talk) 03:13, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

(said huggle glitched) No worries- and again, feel free to ask if you have questions. tedder (talk) 03:16, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Counter-Vandalism Unit edit

Great job... on reverting vandalism. You might want to take a look at Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit and become a Member.

The Counter-Vandalism Unit (CVU) aims to help in cleaning up vandalism on Wikipedia. Removing vandalism is a task, and the CVU intends to make that task easier. Please help us out, Thanks --Michael (Talk) 04:37, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Go to Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit/Task Force/Members and Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit/Task Force/Communication, Thanks--Michael (Talk) 05:01, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

And add

This user is a member of the
Counter-Vandalism Unit.

to your user page or talk page--Michael (Talk) 05:07, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey there edit

You're doing pretty well for yourself on Wikipedia. Keep up the good work. :D -- Raziel  teatime  14:55, 29 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think you owe me an apology edit

I had a warning from you about this edit [1] I made. In the first place, I think you should review my edit and the need for that warning. In the second place, the convention is that only the person who reverted a vandalism should warn the vandal, and you didn't revert my edit - no-one did. In the third place, you really should read WP:DTTR. You've only been around for a month, and I think you are trying to run before you can walk. Cheers! Membership of the Counter-Vandalism Unit edit

As you may know, the Counter-Vandalism unit is inactive. So for reviving the WikiProject, we will need to sort out the members. So if you are active, please put your username at the bottom of the list at Wikipedia talk:Counter-Vandalism Unit#Sort out the members.

You are receiving this message as a current member of the CVU.

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
