Were you ever on the Zatch Bell card game forums? Because I think I remember a member with a name similar to yours....please tell me if this is true, I'm thinking of starting some kind of "Club" for Zatch Bell wiki-ers.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by LoganTheGeshrat (talkcontribs) 21:34, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: Heads Up edit

You should always remember that each student has an article in the Japanese, Thai, and Italian Wikipedias. That's why I have to give you a hand once you create the articles.

Also, once we list enough students, I think the template needs a revamp. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 13:13, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

We might do that, but listing the other students not yet logical at this point (or even a waste of bytes). Maybe a bit later. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 13:20, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
I've made a little revamp of the template. It's in my sandbox (between the fictional Big Brother boards and a still unfinished article). Let me if it is OK for you. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 14:03, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
That's sort of what I imagined for the Negima template! I've been working on the Setsuna page, BTW, in my sandbox...if you think we need it or if there's anything else to add, I'll do so. (otherwise, the look of the template makes me want to do at least a new page for Chisame...maybe iincho, since those two are probably next on my list of longish articles.) -StrangerAtaru 20:47, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:MisoraNekane.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:MisoraNekane.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Orphaned non-free media (Image:RGaoh.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:RGaoh.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:20, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:4-08-874278-8.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:4-08-874278-8.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Zazie's Armor card already released. edit

Zazie's armor card has already been released along with three other Neo-Pactio cards. I've already modified the description in her section because her costume in the card resembles that of the Phantom of the Opera. (I've already told those in AQS Forums about it.) Sorry if this is not the appropriate area to do this, but I just want to let you know about it. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 12:34, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Based on the new ones and kirbypopstarhero's uploads, the unreleased ones are now down to five: Misa's suka card, Satsuki's armor card, Sakurako's armor card, Chizuru's cosplay card, and Natsumi's armor card. Maybe we'll see those next month. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 14:21, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
BTW, the third Negima!? card game booster pack has given us a preview of Sakurako's cosplay form. I've written what I think is the best description of her from in the Pactio article. Yue Ayase + future Sayo article? edit

Thanks for putting up Yue's article. Of course, I've put the vital stats and the interwikis for the Japanese, Italian, and Thai Wikipedias.

I was already thinking for making Sayo's article. In fact, I'm already thinking of what to write on the section on the first anime (including possible causes of her death). But I don't know how will I start. You can help. After all, you've done a good job on the character evolutions. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:27, 21 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Maybe I will make contributions to Ako's article, especially the interwiki links. Just in case you decide on making Sayo's article, let me know so I will put my input. BTW, what kept you busy for the past three days? You seem be absent from my midst during that time. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 16:25, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough. We can discuss Sayo's involvement in the first anime series when we get to the making of Sayo's article. For now, I'll let you make whoever's next in line and I'll put the vital stats later. Also, Merry Christmas! (It's Christmas Day here in my home base, which uses UTC+8.) - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 16:46, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm in the course of making Sayo's article, copying text from her section in the characters page. It is now in my sandbox. But it is still not finished yet, and I have yet to fill any gaps or misplacings. Do you have any contributions before I go further? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 04:09, 28 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've added more info on Sayo, more specifically on the first anime. But I still cannot find a good source for the basis of her character. Can we just leave it out until you find it or not? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 09:01, 28 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
The existing one for Sayo, the one from the first anime, is I think the best because it illustrates just how constant she wears her summer uniform compared to the other students (the Narutaki twins, Kaede, Kazumi, Yuuna, Haruna, Akira, and Makie) who were already wearing their rest-of-the-year uniforms. But we can also use as a supplementary image a picture of her when she was alive. As for the Negima!? suggestion, the picture of her in her Cosplay form is exactly the one I'm thinking! - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 14:33, 28 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Do you think the Sayo article that is progress is now good enough to be moved out of my sandbox? Or do I have to wait until you put your inputs about character notes on Sayo? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:52, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
It's now up! Now, the only ones missing are the other pics (the Negima!? one and the one you suggested as a second complementary image). I'm thinking of Kaede next, but maybe I'll also help you out on the Ako and Ku Fei articles. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:06, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

...If we take account the total kilobyte size of the merged articles, that might be the case. BTW, I found this good summary of episode 19 of the first anime, which includes caps from this episode. Some of the materials for the article slightly came from there. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:25, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Interestingly, the second picture was the same one as the one found in the link above. Although the third picture is good (it shows her moments before her death), I think the second one is the one on my mind. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:30, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
I don't know... but since Sayo's living form is shown during a flashback.... Basically that what I think it would be captioned. In the case of the third pic, it would look something like "Living Sayo protecting her sister's garden moments before her death." or something on that rein.- 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:39, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've seen your beginnings of Ku Fei's article, but I think I can't help you with expanding it... except telling you that while she is depicted as Chinese, she doesn't look like the Han stereotype with blond hair and dark skin. Maybe you can research on why Akamatsu depicted her that way. But do you think she's based on Kaolla Su? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:01, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've also included a description of Ku Fei's cosplay form, even including that she's way too young to drink sake, at least in Japan as you can see in the footnote. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 16:15, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Next possible article? edit

I thinking of making either Makie or Kaede next. I was first thinking of Kaede (the last time I wrote), but now, I'm leaning towards Makie because of her involvement with Motsu and her being victimized by Eva. Which do you think has more weight so I can start? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 12:52, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm now starting to develop Makie's article on my sandbox. But I still don't know can I do next. And I know that my introduction is not very good enough. Did you check my introduction to Makie? Like I already said, it is not good enough. Do you think so? If not, can you improve it? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 02:38, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Looks like I'll be writing a description of her gymnastic abilities (under Abilities section) and a bit of her in the first anime. After that, I might be putting the infobox. After this, is it a go for her own article.- 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 07:56, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I think you should also upload the Kozue pic as a character development pic. As for the choice of pic for her in Negima!?, I'm also in a loss about which pic will be best. But since she has the infatuation with Motsu, I suggest the one with Motsu will be good. I suggest the one with Motsu as the "Black Lily Baron Potato." I haven't seen your edits yet, but I will get to it since because I'm busy editing articles related to a version of Big Brother here. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 16:16, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
It's now up! All it needs now is the necessary images and some more minor repairs. Since it is a completely new article (as opposed to Sayo's, which was originally a redirect), it took some heat a few minutes ago from a newpage patroller, but I immediately dowsed it, so to speak. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 17:11, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: Negima character list edit

I agree on your list. Maybe Ako, Mana, and Kaede may warrant their own articles. In fact, the Japanese, Thai, and Italian Wikipedias have articles for each student. But we should wait a while until something good happens. For now, I think thirteen individual student articles is enough as far as individual notability is concerned. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:31, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I know you're now aware that most of the pictures in the student pages have been deleted. About them, who will now provide the pictures for those who don't have articles yet? I've asked Mythsearcher (talk · contribs), who uploaded the pics in the first place, but he said that they had no "fail use" rational, and it seemed to me that he didn't bother saving them. And I don't think he cares anymore about it. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:17, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I was thinking that those without articles can warrant. But for consistency, I think all must have their pics back. After all, one must know what their "manga looks" are like, right? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:31, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Is it within Konami's site? If it isn't can you provide the link for me so I can check it out? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 16:15, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I knew they're in Konami's site. The pics from the second game, BTW, are the ones seen in the Thai Wikipedia articles, so we can ditch those. Maybe those from the third game (albeit having the !? marks) will do, since we need to be updated. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 16:44, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

1. Where is your confirmation that it will become a separate series? Is there a citable source? 2. Next time please use the "Move" function if you wish to move articles. WhisperToMe (talk) 00:23, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re:Kazumi's pactio card... edit

I know. I've already seen it. But right now, I'm more interested in properly describing Chizuru's Cosplay Pactio. Chang'e, perhaps? You decide. All I can recognize is she looks like a Chinese goddess. http://img292.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ygpcg049img600x45012010id9.jpg - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 11:54, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

PS: I'm already planning of Kaede's article next... but considering the manga material, I don't think she needs her own article right now. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 14:16, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
BTW, earlier, I've created Eastern order redirects for 11 of the existing articles (such as "Kagurazaka Asuna"). That was after I've read WP:MOS-JP. Although it is not practiced much, I decided to give that page a favor. (In a related note, School Rumble's characters have their names in their manga in Eastern order, but Western order applies here. The articles of the SR characters used to be in Eastern order, but that has now been changed.) - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 14:26, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

New Pactio Cards: edit

Kirbypopstarhero as found a picture for two Pactio cards: Satsuki and Natsumi (http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a191/kirbypopstarhero/april2neo.jpg). I've already modified Satsuki's armor pactio description accordingly. Doesn't she look like Chen Kenichi in that outfit? I can't write the name of Natsumi's card, however, because the picture isn't too clear. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:00, 3 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Update: Previews of Misa's Suka, Sakurako's Cosplay and Chizuru's cosplay. You can discuss about it on the Aquastar Forums. BTW, how come you're not responding to any messages in your talk page anymore? I haven't got a reply from you since my last message. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 16:56, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Me, too. I like to read what the Latin expressions in Sakurako and Chizuru's Cosplay cards say. Anyway, at least the Neo-Pactio roster is now complete by April. We'll just wait until those cards are released so we can enter the names of Satsuki and Natsumi's pactios. BTW, you haven't answered my question about Satsuki looking like Chen Kenichi in her Armor outfit. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 01:43, 23 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Aaronieroanime.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Aaronieroanime.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 17:50, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: Nodoka Editing War edit

I've requested Nodoka's article for semi-protection in WP:RFPP. Let's see how that comes out. In the meantime, I've already warned the idiot about weasel words (such as "fans say..." without a bias or any legit source). - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:25, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

EDIT: The request has been declined. (I have to ask several admins about this.) But the admin who took action about it has reminded the idiot his edits and WP:3RR. But let's wait and see what happens because I've already posted my reply to his message in my talk page. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 06:59, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Akira's surname edit

Which is the more established surname for Akira, Okochi or Okouchi? I'm asking this because after some digging through the kanji in Akira's surname and found out that the last character is read "uchi" and should therefore be separate. I just changed the spellings on the character pages just in case. BTW, her surname, I found out, literally means "Great Hanoi." - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:15, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, the only Romanizations of Akira's name with revised spelling I have are in her Neo-Pactio cards and some doujin works. And some people's spelling of her surname (Ookouchi), but this can lead to some confusion. Remember my Negima!? playing cards? Even I got confused with that spelling and pronunciation. How do the Del Rey translations spell her name, BTW? - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 23:53, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, I did scan through volume 14 (of Del Rey's) in a local bookstore here, and it seems that even they are confused (they wrote Akira's surname as "Okochi"). But since Del Rey's is the official English version, I have no choice but spell how Del Rey spells it. But the Japanese pronunciation guide stays. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 08:03, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sakurako's Cosplay card edit

I've decided to contact you this way because I know you don't visit AQS as much anymore.

I hope you know by now that the last five Neo-Pactio cards have been released. I've finally filled up the names of Satsuki and Natsumi's armor cards in the Pactio article. But I know you're concerned about the runes on Sakurako and Chizuru's Cosplay cards.

Since kirbypopstarhero has not yet uploaded scans, I tried to find the Yahoo! Auctions Japan site for clearer, more readable pics. I've found Sakurako's Cosplay card (though distorted) and I was able to read and research the Latin expression and the Norse mythological figure on her card. Since the rune is what you are interested about, I can say that it is Lofn's name that is indicated in Sakurako's card. I've already posted that info on AQS. I wonder, though: what does Lofn, who is very obscure in Norse myth, have to do with Sakurako?

No luck on a readable Chizuru pic until kirbypopstarhero uploads his scans. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 14:33, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the unsolicited PS... I can understand what you mean. I still go to AQS, but don't post as much anymore. (I'm more into Danbooru right now.) I'll try to find a clearer readable pic of Chizuru's Cosplay ASAP while we wait for kirby's HQ scans. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:33, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Jump talk edit

Yeah, I was just making it look like how it is on the main Jump list. I was just looking up your name on the new search and it said there was a "User:StrangerAtaru/Sandbox", so I looked at that. By the way, the Weekly Shonen Jump article needs references... and.. isn't "Jump Talk" a game on JUMPLAND? – 「JUMPGURU」@Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 22:44, 11 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • I saw that you made a 80s template on my Watchlist. I wish I could add references, the only problem is you put it on so I can't get the source. Adding references is a really important habbit to get into. – 「JUMPGURU」@Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 22:54, 11 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Albireo Pactio.jpg} edit

Thank you for uploading Image:Albireo Pactio.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Proposed deletion of Purio and Lupa edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Purio and Lupa, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Not notable, no sources

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Card nodoka.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Card nodoka.jpg.

You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:53, 28 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:SBo-bobo1.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:SBo-bobo1.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of P2! -let's Play Pingpong!- edit

The article P2! -let's Play Pingpong!- has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable manga that fails WP:GNG and WP:NBOOK.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
