License tagging for Image:WSS.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:WSS.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:11, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

January 2008 edit

Hi, the recent edit you made to Kim Ho has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Curious about something edit

I noticed this change you made, and I am curious about what {{Link FA|ko}} means. What does this do? Thanks, CosineKitty (talk) 17:43, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

You dont know about featured article? This article which a is featured article now is also is in Korean language. {{Link FA|ko}} just displays that the same article is featured in Korean language.--Vnvnfls (talk) 02:13, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

queen min article edit

Are you sure that you wanted to revert me? Your revert put the following awful grammar back into the article:

The Japanese assassins join in the murdering with Pro-Japanese general U Beom-seon (우범선, 禹範善) and Yi Du-hwang (이두황, 李斗璜). In front of the Gwanghwamun, the Korean Royal Guards led by Hong Gye-hun (홍계훈, 洪啓薰) and An Gyeong-su (안경수, 安駉壽), were fighted with the Japanese assassins and Pro-Japanese generals. However, Hong Gye-hun and Minister Yi Gyeong-jik (이경직, 李耕稙) was killed by them, and then the assassins trespass the Okho-ru (옥호루, 玉壺樓) in the Geoncheong-gung and they killed the Empress Myeongseong. After the Eulmi Incident, Japanese assassins burned and bury a corpse of Empress Myeongseong.

Did you really want that grammar included? カンチョーSennen Goroshi ! (talk) 22:33, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

You did it again ! Why did you change the article and put back lots of really poor grammar? Do you even understand that there are grammar mistakes?

join in the murdering = mistake

countered the Japanese assassins = mistake

the assassins trespass = mistake

Japanese assassins burned and buried a corpse of Empress. = mistake ..actually that line has more than one mistake.

If you want to change something, but your English is not good enough, why not say what you want to change on the talk page and maybe someone can help you.

Please undo your last edit as there are many many English grammar mistakes, go to the talk page and say what you want changed.

Are you underestimating my language proficiency?StormDaebak (talk) 03:19, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, I had my doubts due to the constant reversion to a version that was littered with grammatical errors.カンチョーSennen Goroshi ! (talk) 07:20, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Great, one more time you have reverted to a version with awful English. Do you not understand what I am trying to say? If you want to change the contents, then change them - we are all allowed to do that - if the version you want to revert to has many grammatical errors, then dont just revert it, use the edit function, change the details you want to change, that way you dont revert to the previous version that contains errors. If you dont understand where the errors are, then perhaps you should ask someone to help you. DO NOT REVERT TO A VERSION THAT CONTAINS ERRORS - USE THE EDIT FUNCTION INSTEAD !!! is that clear enough? カンチョーSennen Goroshi ! (talk) 07:39, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
If you compare the difference between some versions, you should have seen that I did not just revert.StormDaebak (talk) 01:46, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I didn't notice, either way your edit/revert took the article back to a state that had awful English. カンチョーSennen Goroshi ! (talk) 05:53, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Mind the 3RR rule edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Empress Myeongseong. Note that the WP:three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. This is a courtesy message.--Caspian blue 04:25, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 03:03, 21 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
