File source and copyright licensing problem with File:WOW logo blk url FA 4c.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:WOW logo blk url FA 4c.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 11:27, 4 August 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:27, 4 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Glutenfreesteve". The reason given for Glutenfreesteve's block is: "Spam / advertising-only account".

Decline reason: I am declining this request, and unstead blocking this account directly, as it is likely a sockpuppet account. The Stevedtc account name clearly matches the Glutenfreesteve account's name, and seeing that you haven't edited on this account in almost two months (And chose to edit almost the same time as Glutenfreesteve did) i presume that both accounts are yours.

Par our account policy you may not have more then one account, except for exceptions given in the WP:SOCK policy. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 20:10, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Apologies - stevedtc is the account and I was testing under glutenfreesteve - you can delete the glutenfreesteve but I do need the stevedtc, please. I am learning as I go along and appreciate your help and patience even as I read through the dos/donts. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Your other account was blocked as an advertising only account, and the edit history of both accounts does nothing to allay the impression that you are here only for promotion. JamesBWatson (talk) 15:00, 27 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I have no reason to lie, so again, I am asking my account stevedtc to be reinstated, please.

Decline reason:

Who accused you of lying? In any event your request does not address the reason for your block. If you continue with requests in this vein it is likely that an admin will not only decline but revoke your talk page access as well. — Daniel Case (talk) 04:50, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
