Speedy deletion nomination of Viniyard Films

edit

Hello Starsonyset,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Viniyard Films for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. HAzmi (talk) 12:37, 29 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of LKR(TV series)

edit

The article LKR(TV series) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced article that fails to credibly assert notability of the subject

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Using infoboxes

edit

I've had to fix errors in a number of articles that you have created or edited. You seem to be making some errors consistently, so I thought it best to point out where you have gone wrong to minimise the number of errors in the future. When using infoboxes, only parameters that are actually part of the infobox may be used, and the syntax of the parameters must be correct. Specifically regarding {{Infobox television}}, Preceded_by and Followed_by are incorrect. Only lower case should be used as the correct parameters are preceded_by and followed_by.[1] This applies to other parameters as well. While not an error, using leading zeroes is not necessary. For example, |num_episodes=01 is not necessary, |num_episodes=1 is fine. If the number of episodes is zero, it is not necessary to use this parameter at all.[2] |last_aired=present is not correct as "present" should not be capitalised.[3] You are by no means the only editor making these errors, but I have seen your are more active than other editors. My aim is to reduce the number of errors, as Indian articles are being added to Category:Pages using infobox television with unknown parameters. --AussieLegend () 20:35, 9 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Compassionate727. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of programs broadcast by Life OK, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Compassionate727 (T·C) 22:30, 13 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ashish Sharma, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Host. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Infobox parameters

edit

Hi there, please familiarize yourself with Template:Infobox television. I've seen you a few times erroneously change the |last_aired= parameter from "present" to "2016", for instance here and here and here. If a series is still producing new episodes, the value should contain "present". Once the series has stopped airing new episodes, we use the {{End date}} template to provide a date.

This edit is also questionable, because you've provided no reference for a specific air date. Additionally, since the series has not yet begun, "present" would not be a valid value. Please read over the Infobox instructions so that you're editing consistently with community consensus. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:18, 20 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Kare

edit

The article Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Kare has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Two articles created about the same time, so CSD A10, inapplicable. It appears that Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein is the correct name of the subject program.

Template:Infobox television again, and other questionable edits

edit

Hi there. A few notes. Re: this edit, it's unclear why you changed the |last_aired= parameter value. This should remain "present" until the series stops airing new episodes, and until you can confirm through sourced prose that the series has ended. "August 2016" doesn't satisfy either of these issues. As has previously been brought to your attention, you need to familiarize yourself with the Template:Infobox television instructions if you intend to edit TV articles. To continue making problematic edits is quickly becoming disruptive, and will result in an interruption of your editing privileges.

This edit doesn't make any sense to me. What does "BAAKWAS SHOW" mean? This is the English Wikipedia, so content should be written in English. Please also avoid writing IN ALL CAPS, and if you're going to change the number of seasons, please be sure that there is sourced content in the article that discusses a season 2 pickup. Thank you.
