Other outbreaks
editSsahay2, your addition of the "other outbreaks" page is incorrect. The Third Plague Pandemic went to India, Africa, South America and North America, including the San Francisco outbreak, which is the source of endemic plague in in Western US and other parts of the world today. and other outbreaks around the world. See the WP page on the third plague pandemic. The thrid pandemic is the last outbreak that " spread to all inhabited continents," originating in the Yunnan Province of China. The last major outbreaks associated with it happened as late as the 1940s and 1950s.
