Cassell profile

edit

Hi I saw your contribution the Sam Cassell discussion section. It appears that a particular member (I don't know his name as he never signs) has a personal crusade against references to the Cassell-Alien e-phenomenon. I really don't know how to go about resolving the matter as I'm relatively new to Wiki and never have had an experience with a member who is intent on asserting his/her will. Can you please review the situation and weigh in with your opinion?

Joy Electric

edit

Why did you revert the edits made on the Joy Electric page? Did you even read the section you reinstated? squeemu

No, I didn't read the section, I just saw an alert by the bot in the vandalism channel, one of many, that there was a large blanking by an IP and reflexively reverted. Sorry. --Rory096 22:16, 17 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

"Vandalism"

edit

Please don't refer to my edits as "vandalism", as you did here. You may have noticed that I asked on the talk page if anyone objected to a redirect, and nobody has responded. If you disagree with the redirect, that's fine, but I'd like to hear why on the talk page. Friday (talk) 19:16, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I see your reply now- simple mistake, no worries. Friday (talk) 19:17, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
