Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Crystal Palace F.C., did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.   Please do not add hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did in the article Louis jay. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia in an attempt to test our ability to detect and remove such material. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can make a positive impact. Thank you.   Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Kieran Cottingham, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:36, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Advice

edit

It would be a really good idea for you to read WP:FIRST, which will give you advice about writing your first article. I couldn't find any evidence that Louis Jay is playing football at the highest level, or that he meets Wikipedia's notability criteria. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:10, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion declined: Lewis Perkins

edit

Hello Spotingflys, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Lewis Perkins, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not a test page. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Dabomb87 (talk) 00:11, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Louis Jay

edit

The article Louis Jay has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
