Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited JetFlash, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page USB drive. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Request reason:

I have no any relationship with Nipponese Dog Calvero.

Decline reason:

The technical evidence says otherwise. Huon (talk) 13:32, 12 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@KrakatoaKatie: There is a issue, one of the Chinese Wikipedia checkuser admin Lanwi1 have identified this user behavior are inconformity to NDC (影武者) at here, he was temporary blocked on Chinese Wikipedia due to copyright violations. SA 13 Bro (talk) 12:46, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
@DoRD and Ponyo: Would you take a look? I'm busy IRL and I have no objection to unblock if you disagree with technical details, but I'm pretty sure here. Katietalk 17:02, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Don't need to unblock, this user have been identified by a steward CU that is related to, I also have received his email about his Taiwan independence ideological that is similar as like NDC (影武者) ideological, account now has been globally locked. SA 13 Bro (talk) 19:34, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Reply from my email: Email to "stewards@wikimedia.org" and "info-en@wikimedia.org" for applying your appeal. SA 13 Bro (talk) 04:46, 10 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
@SA 13 Bro:, the user came to Wikimedia Taiwan's office ask us help him to explain. I'm sure that he is not NDC (影武者). I can provide his picture (photo by me) and NDC's (photo by a board member of WMTW) to prove that. Which mailbox should I mail the two files to?--Reke (talk) 03:45, 11 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Reke: Hold on, I pings this issue to the local check user admins and one of the global steward about this. SA 13 Bro (talk) 04:01, 11 December 2017 (UTC) @DoRD, Ponyo, and Ruslik0:Reply

@SA 13 Bro: can you please elucidate about Email received? An investigation on Commons tends to conclude that the Solomon203 = Nipponese Dog Calvero hypothesis is poorly founded, at best. @KrakatoaKatie: I struggle to follow the case against Solomon203 to its roots. Which namely Wikimedians declared that he is a Nipponese Dog’s sock? The latter is known to use large dynamical ranges in Taiwan and IP-based identification can easily produce a false positive. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 10:26, 13 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Found myself in Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Nipponese Dog Calvero/Archive #28_October_2017 that Sir Sputnik did the confirmation. @Steinsplitter: which namely pattern, where? Incnis Mrsi (talk) 10:38, 13 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • @Incnis Mrsi: Donald Trung and I also not very familiarize about Solomon203 psychology, but that time when I told him to stay away from Wikimedia for a moment on Email, due to his Pro Democratic Progressive Party, Taiwan independence ideological, and the network IP range that he used, which was some similar behavior as like NDC (影武者) ideological, then he indicated to me about his Taiwan independence ideological on Email. Although there was an collateral tons of behavior in Taiwan, but Solomon203 had also campaign the editing on Japanese and Vietnamese Wikipedia in the past. While I am still don't believe that Solomon203 is NDC (影武者) because Solomon203 not look like a vandal, further inquiry about this user you may wish to consult with PlyrStar93 and Lanwi1 as well. SA 13 Bro (talk) 17:47, 13 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
I don’t consider the Nipponese Dog a vandal, but he is unsuitable to edit – he’s from a kind of people comfortable with shouting slogans during rallies, not with actual constructive work. And I don’t deem that anyone other, such as Solomon203, may be excluded from Wikimedia because of mistaken identification to one fanatic. As a fluent Chinese speaker, could SA 13 Bro contact the Taiwanese Wikimedia please? If they can find corroboration that Solomon203 is a physical person distinct from Jason Lin 林浩生 who is presumedly identical to the Nipponese Dog, then the stewards would likely unlock the account to avoid serious negative publicity. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 18:24, 13 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Incnis Mrsi: Do you have his Email contact? I will try to have the collaboration with Donald Trung to contact the meta:Wikimedia Taiwan if I can help. SA 13 Bro (talk) 20:41, 13 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I come back. My global block is unlocked, but the thread is closed. I say again: I'm NOT a sock of Nipponese Dog Calvero. User:Reke from Wikimedia Taiwan understands this fact. --Solomon203 (talk) 02:03, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Declining given Bbb23’s findings below. As this is a CheckUser block, an admin who is not a CheckUser cannot lift it on their own. As the CheckUser who reviewed the technical evidence below is not willing to consent to an unblock, there is not much else that can be done. Your best option for an appeal at this point is to email the arbitration committee at arbcom-l lists.wikimedia.org TonyBallioni (talk) 16:53, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Solomon203 is aware of their appeal options. Further comments by third-parties are not helpful. TonyBallioni (talk) 14:52, 5 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
The following discussion has been closed. Please do not modify it.

Checkuser needed: can we get a local CheckUser here. The global unlock was done to facilitate appeal on local projects, but was a third-party appeal. I think KrakatoaKatie is currently away, but pinging her as well. TonyBallioni (talk) 02:31, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Reke: You got email Solomon203 photo to "arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org" or not? SA 13 Bro (talk) 15:15, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, SA 13 Bro. I just mail the photo.--10:13, 5 June 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Reke (talkcontribs)
How do you know that the person who came into your office is a real Wikipedia user? Had you met him before? May be he is just a random person whom NDC asked to come to your office and to login into the account? Ruslik_Zero 12:13, 5 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Ruslik0: Solomon203 has wrote here that in half year ago it was the guy (NDC) on the right side who injurious him to get the global blocked in traditional Chinese characters, for my conjecture they are knew each other in real life time, but they may in hostile relationship.
