Question edit

I presume you are User:Shane6456? If so, could you please explain why you are using a different account without identifying yourself? Using multiple accounts is not normally allowed, especially without disclosing this information; please read WP:SOCK.

Also, please note that you need to WP:SIGN your talk page posts with ~~~~, which shows up like this: Modernponderer (talk) 12:00, 19 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

I Lost The Password To The Old Account edit

I Lost The Password For That Account and I Couldn't Reset It, So I Had To Make a New Account, ~~~~.

If you are posting messages about edits made from the old account, as you did at my talk page and that of User:Spshu, you should explain who you are.
Also some formatting notes: please don't capitalize almost every word, or make new headings for the same discussion like you did here. And I used the special "nowiki" code only to show you what the signature code looks like; if you use it when you're actually posting a signature, it won't show up. OK, sorry. Snesboy12 (talk) 15:25, 19 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

May 2020 edit

OK, calm down, I get the point. Snesboy12 (talk) 01:07, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for contravening Wikipedia's harassment policy. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Anarchyte (talkwork) 05:15, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

A summary of some important site policies and guidelines that you might want to look at during this time edit

He could possibly be a sockpuppet of Milleniux90210. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.98.57.43 (talk) 21:50, 8 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

The place for that would be WP:SPI, but you'd need to present WP:DIFFs with good explanations. Snesboy12 previously edited as Shane6456 and both accounts actually registered before Milleniux90210. This is not so much evidence either way but a notable lack of evidence (when one account registers right after another was blocked, that's a sign that they might be related). It also means that the sockpuppet investigation would need to be filed under Shane6456, not Milleniux90210. Looking at their contributions to user talk pages, both demonstrate certain issues with communication that suggest... similar development -- but not necessarily shared identity. Shane6456/Snesboy12 would actually attempt to cite sources in discussions with other users, a concept apparently unfamiliar to Milleniux90210. Snesboy12 also knows that article talk pages exist, which I don't see any evidence for for Milleniux90210.
Shane6456/Snesboy12 shows a specific interest in children's programming, while Milleniux90210 shows a broader interest in programming schedules in general -- their editing areas are not identical. Shane6456 and Milleniux90210 have both edited at Family Chrgd, Snesboy12 and Milleniux90210 have both edited at List of programs broadcast by Discovery Family and 44 Cats, and all three accounts have edited at List of programs broadcast by YTV.
The edits to Family Chrgd consist of Shane6456 removing Johnny Test from the line up and Milleniux90210 rearranging listings but notably never removing Johnny Test.
The edits to List of programs broadcast by Discovery Family consist of Snesboy12 formatting tables, moving "Hanazuki: Full of Treasures", and adding Johnny Test, while Milleniux90210's edits there include moving "Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures", moving "My Little Pony", moving "The Polos", moving "Bubu and the Little Owls", moving "The Polos" and "Bubu and the Little Owls", and citing a source (ok, guess he did know that's a thing); as well as a bunch of formatting changes and such that I can't be arsed with ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5]).
Milleniux90210's sole edits to "List of programs broadcast by YTV" and "44 Cats" are so insignificant that I can't see any potential evidence for overlap with Snesboy12. Similarly, Snesboy12 did not undo or overwrite the changes by Milleniux90210, making this page a dead end for evidence either way. (Not saying he should have reverted or overwritten, merely pointing out that if he had it would have been strong evidence against sockpuppetry -- that said, innocent until proven guilty).
Having gone through the overlapping diffs, I would not block based on behavioral evidence. It doesn't seem worth my time to find general trends in unrelated articles. I do not feel (even having put forth the effort to gather the evidence) that it'd be worthwhile to request a checkuser (as none of these accounts are connected to a prolific sockpuppeteer with a penchant for "trolling" by pretending to be different users with varying degrees of good faith). This quick glance leaves me with the impression that Milleniux90210 was pretty rightfully blocked under WP:NOTHERE but that Snesboy12, mistakes aside, is trying to help. Another note about signatures edit

As I see you have resumed editing, please note that I have corrected several of your signatures on this page as they linked to my talk page instead of your own.

Once again, please use exactly four tilde characters (~) in a row to post a signature, not any other method. These are automatically converted into the correct format. If you use some other method (for example copy-and-paste), it is easy to make mistakes like this. Modernponderer (talk) 04:13, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

May 2020 edit

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at List of programs broadcast by Nickelodeon, you may be blocked from editing. The Grand Delusion(Send a message) 20:18, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of programs broadcast by Nickelodeon; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. The Grand Delusion(Send a message) 20:18, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring at List of programs broadcast by Nickelodeon. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ian.thomson (talk) 21:26, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
I strongly recommend you complete our tutorial and perhaps look over this guide I wrote before returning to editing articles. I've already explained above how to properly cite sources (not in the edit summary field). Ian.thomson (talk) 21:29, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
I strongly recommend you unblock me because I stopped the edit war. Snesboy12 (talk) 22:00, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Ian, I stopped edit warring when The Grand Delusion said I was on my last warning, now unblock me. Snesboy12 (talk) 22:09, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Even if you stopped trying to remove one particular program, you continued your continued problematic behavior of making unsourced changes (and in this case, almost as a retort to their responses). If you edit my comments again or make another personal attack, I will extend the block and maybe even revoke talk page access. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:15, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Also, here is when you received your warning regarding edit warring, here is where you continued removing that program. Look at the time stamps. If you had long since learned to stop making unsourced changes (something you've been repeatedly warned about), I probably would not have blocked; and if I had, if you weren't being bossy and hadn't done this, I would have unblocked. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:19, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unblock me Ian edit

Ian, I said unblock me, I stopped edit warring when I was on my last warning, meaning I didn't blow all my warnings yet, so unblock me please.

You've repeatedly received a number of final warnings, which you acknowledge but then continue on the same behavior with. You need to acknowledge that you understand that you are screwing up and explain how you're going to stop screwing up. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:15, 25 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
