Genesis creation narrative. You might find something useful abt the rib/Eve's place in this book. If you want to use it, make it a little sentence about the various views that have been put forward. For the Mary Ellen Smith thing, Phyllis Trible is the one you want if you want a modern statement of the same idea - I couldn't find anything on a brief search but I'm sure it's there somewhere.
