Your contributed article, Koingo Software, Inc.

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Koingo Software, Inc.. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Koingo Software. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Koingo Software - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. :.:∙:∙∙:∙:.:|pepper|:.:∙:∙∙:∙:.: 17:43, 7 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Follow-up - this would be better as a redirect, such as Microsoft Inc. is a redirect to Microsoft. :.:∙:∙∙:∙:.:|pepper|:.:∙:∙∙:∙:.: 17:45, 7 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Teanna Clark moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Teanna Clark, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Request reason:

Granted that I am not a Wikipedia regular, but occasionally I do make the odd couple changes to my favourite software business and a few other pages. Recently, my friend Teanna wanted a page made for her so I helped her out. I am relatively new to Wikipedia overall and didn't realize this violated any terms of service. Now a second page I made for the CEO of Koingo, who I've been following since I was 12 years old, has been removed. Please assist. Skellington86 (talk) 13:56, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 16:04, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I do understand why I was blocked. I was wrongly accused of getting paid to create content on Wikipedia which is ridiculously false. If that were the case, I'd have thousands of edits and tons of crap spewing onto the site. I've been a long-time fan of Koingo and was adding additional information about its CEO to Wikipedia who is well-known in the media. I've also helped create and add content to the St. Leon Hot Springs Page. Yes, I understand I'm not a regular poster, but that does not mean I'm some spam bot. I am doing my best to contribute to WIkipedia when I have information I am able to confidently share. I had no intentions of causing damage or disruptions and fail to see how I did this by adding the content that I did. Skellington86 (talk) 08:21, 20 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. Yamla (talk) 11:50, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
