Hello, Sinno024, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi! I have some notes about your edits:

  • With headings, only the first word is capitalized unless it's something like the name of a location - the same as with normal sentences.
  • Images should only be added to an article if they add to the article and there aren't already sufficient enough images on the article.
  • Whether to use American or British spelling is a bit tricky. The general gist is that if the article concerns a topic in the UK or a country that spells those words the same way, you use the British spelling. In cases where the topic could concern multiple countries, it looks like the consensus is to use the most common spelling (or in the case of specific items, universally accepted terms), at least per the guidelines on this. When it comes down to spelling variants, it's better to discuss it on the article's talk page before making any changes.

This may all sound a bit imposing, but these are all common things to run into when you first start editing. I did these exact same things, to be honest, so no worries - don't let this impede you any! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:42, 8 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
