Hello! This is Angel from COM 482 Interpersonal Media. I'm just doing a short introduction here but I hope that you're having a good start to the new school year! Angelsu52 (talk) 14:21, 7 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Welcome Shy63 to both Wikipedia and to COM482! I'm a big fan of takikomi gohan so it's exciting to see you work on that article.

The article is somewhat advanced compared to other stubs so you might need to dig a bit deeper to make significant improvements. Look at the talk page of the article (Talk:takikomi gohan) for related food projects that will give you a good sense of excellent articles on similar topics which should point you at a way to improve the article. I'm looking forward to seeing watching the article develop over the next week. —mako 14:13, 19 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Feedback on your draft

edit

Greetings Shy63! I'm sorry you didn't get feedback on User:Shy63/Takikomi gohan from any of your classmates.

In any case, I think you article is off to a great start. You've added tons of information, a bunch of good references, and the article is 'much better shape than it was before. Hooray!

Most of my advice is just about cleaning things up. In particular:

  • Carefully edit it to try and polish the English.
  • You've added a bunch of new statements/facts/etc about takikomi gohan. Each of these needs a reference! If they are coming from a single source, you can add it for the first claim or sentence and then add a second citation to the same thing.
  • I saw that you added a citation to the History header. That's not really typical in Wikipedia.
  • I would consider making maze gohan into a red link.

Once you've done a final pass to clean up some of this stuff, please go ahead and move your changes over into the live version. I think with another pass, you'll be in really great shape! This is great work. It's making me hungry! ;) —mako 03:13, 2 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
