Welcoming new users edit

As it's clear you read my previous message, I feel compelled to leave another one to save us both the trouble of going to ANI. First, please stop mass welcoming new users - you yourself are new but you've missed the part of the welcoming committee that states Welcoming committee members welcome new users who have already made constructive edits and yet half of your welcomes are to blatant vandals, spam only accounts or disruptive editors. To further illustrate my point, of your last 10 or so "welcomes", you welcomed the following: vandalism, an SPA, an obvious troll, vandalism, etc... Can you please explain why you are doing this? We do not mass welcome users on the English Wikipedia and I'd advise you to read up on our guidelines and policies yourself before continuing to do this. I am now deleting all welcomes to vandals, and am patrolling recent changes, which I am now making sure the edits are indeed constructive, but thank you for the advice and information!    Shalvey    14:44, 20 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I this is my first REGISTERED account, although I have made constructive edits for about 2 years using my IP address.    Shalvey    14:47, 20 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
