Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. Request reason:

would like to change my user name to be better representative of my interests which are to keep information about players in the food system up to date FFC 2017 (talk) 16:31, 11 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I assume that FFC represents Food Future Co, which is not acceptable. There is no reason at all why your username should indicate your editing interests, and every reason why it should not. Please choose another name; be creative! --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 22:36, 11 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

need to update user name to get unblocked! hopefully this suggestion of sgj_524 is accepted FFC 2017 (talk) 02:33, 13 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

The suggested username is fine, but I'm not convinced you won't return to promotional or disruptive editing. Based on your message below, your company is attempting to control how it's covered on Wikipedia, but companies do not own their articles. Wikipedia covers what's been published in reliable secondary sources, not what the company wants us to. ~ Rob13Talk 22:25, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hi, I do work for the company. Wikipedia's results are the first to pop-up for our company when one searches for FoodFuture on Google. We not only just went through a recent rebrand, we also are constantly updating our terms and programming... as is the way of a startup. I have no problem disclosing that I work for the company. It is just essential that all online material about our company is accurate! FFC 2017 (talk) 22:21, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Procedurally decline duplicate request. Handling above. ~ Rob13Talk 22:25, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Ok, understood. Can I submit this article for your review and to add edits to our page as a third party? https://agfundernews.com/from-food-x-to-foodfutureco-shen-tongs-reflections-on-launching-an-accelerator.html

Accept reason:

Unblocked pursuant to the condition not to directly edit articles related to Food Future, Inc. as per the below. Note that you do also need to change your username as detailed above. ~ Rob13Talk 01:34, 17 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • I'd be willing to unblock you conditional on your agreement not to directly edit articles related to Food Future, Inc., broadly construed. You would be able to make suggestions on the articles' talk pages (such as Talk:Food Future, Inc.), which other editors may examine and action upon if appropriate. If this condition is violated, you would be blocked indefinitely, and this restriction may be appealed to the community at WP:AN or to me after six months. Is this condition acceptable to you? If yes, I'll unblock you. If no, I'll leave the request for another administrator to process, as I already declined the above one. ~ Rob13Talk 23:00, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I accept! I will most definitely be making suggestions for FoodFutureCo and other affiliates but will not directly edit this page or anything related to our company. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FFC 2017 (talkcontribs) 23:06, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
