November 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Servermx.it", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or have the appearance of shared use. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. John of Reading. (talk) 08:27, 24 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Note: Only myself is using this username, nobody else is allowed to use it. I am not a company. I am using this username because it is identical to the domain name I bought. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ‎ Servermx.it (talkcontribs) 11:47, 24 November 2012
(I have reformatted your message here so that it will be easier for other editors to follow the conversation)
Thank you for removing your edit at Template:Comparison of Email Hosting Providers. It is natural for you, as a domain owner, to want to add your product to the list there. But Wikipedia is not an advertising medium, and I have nominated the whole list for deletion - there will be a 7-day period for other editors to comment, and then an administrator will make the decision.
In the meantime I suggest you look at the FAQ page for businesses. Much of the advice there applies to you, I think, even though you are a domain owner and not a company. -- John of Reading (talk) 14:29, 24 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
