December 2023
editWelcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Super Mario Bros., it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Hi. What on earth makes you think any Nintendo game would ever be licensed for publishing by any company other than Nintendo? You're putting every game in the world in the category of Arcade Archives. Super Mario Bros. and others are not in that! Where are you getting these ideas? You need to revert anything that isn't listed on here. Users can be blocked for this. — Smuckola(talk) 01:59, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- While this (obviously) isn't on PlayStation 4, this (well, the VS. version anyway) was released on Nintendo Switch, as seen on here. Sorry if I caused any confusion. I'll revert this if you would like. Seco86484 (talk) 02:10, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- To clarify, while both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch both share nearly the same Arcade Archives catalog, the Nintendo Switch Arcade Archives catalog exclusively features some of Nintendo's arcade games. Seco86484 (talk) 02:41, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
- Okay! I'm sorry! Like I said, I googled it and didn't find that one URL somehow. I was thinking to myself that adding categories is the gray area where there's no direct citation involved, and so maybe there's something I don't know! And this is exactly the kind of basic thing new users like to spam. ;) But I definitely never thought there was a direct competitor to the Virtual Console sitting on Nintendo's platform that had magical licensing from Nintendo. That's historically unthinkable, and yet there it is! Ok sorry. I have no idea what the point of all this categorization is anyway, to simply brand a free encyclopedia, but carry on, I guess! Let me know if I can help with anything. — Smuckola(talk) 03:00, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
