Welcome!

Hello, Sdevreede, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Elysia and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Refugee Education

edit

I noticed that your new article is primarily a copy of the content that is already in the article at refugee children. Before you move content into a new article it's good practice to bring this up on the article's talk page first. There's only a couple of paragraphs of content, so I'm not really sure that this needs to be its own article. I'm going to merge your content into the main article and redirect this. Education of immigrants in the United States

Please be aware I have removed some of your additions to this page, the references you have added are links to your sandbox, which does not constitute a reference. Please read WP:CITE for instructions on how to do it properly--Jac16888 Talk 16:08, 17 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Sdevreede, I have fixed the issue pointed out above. In the future, make sure that you follow directions carefully for moving content out of the sandbox and into mainspace. You should only copy content from the sandbox when you are in "edit" mode--otherwise, the references will break. Thanks, Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:25, 17 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
