Notability of Ashley Bailey

edit

A tag has been placed on Ashley Bailey, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. P4k 22:36, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Dr bab 23:15, 2 July 2007 (UTC) Why cant i write about my novels, this is a constructive question and i just want an answer please, i mean no offence.Reply

All articles on Wikipedia must meet the notability criteria decided upon by the wikipedia community. According to these criteria, unpublished novels are not notable. Please check the notability criteria before creating any more articles. Dr bab 23:24, 2 July 2007 (UTC).Reply
I am sorry if you are upset that you do a lot of work that is deleted, but consider this: If every unpublished author created articles about his or her unpublished novels, wikipedia would very soon contain a vast amount of articles on subjects that have no meaning to anyone except the individual unpublished authors. The idea behind the notability criteria is that wikipedia is not about everything. If you manage to get you novels published and reviewed, it might be appropriate to include articles on them, but not before then. Good luck on your writing. Dr bab 23:31, 2 July 2007 (UTC).Reply

Speedy deletion of *The butcher

edit

A tag has been placed on *The butcher requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
