Hello, Sbucket77, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Varieties of English on Wikipedia

edit

Wikipedia accepts different regional spellings in English, and you generally shouldn't change between English and American spellings. Just stick with whatever is used in the article. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:42, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

In a case like he social identity theory of course, it's confusing because both "behaviour" and "behavior" are used. It should be consistent, and should use whatever variety was used first, but without digging into the history of the page it's hard to tell. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:44, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
