- SS74, thank you for having brought attention to the June 1972 event (and for correcting the date of last precipitation from 12/20/71 to 12/29/71, and for your kind note), and I am glad that I was able to add to it. I had been unaware that a major city had gone for such a long time without a single day of rain.
