Unblocked edit

I have unblocked your account so you can file an unblock request at WP:AN. The condition is strict: outside of this talkpage, you are not allowed to edit anywhere but in that AN discussion. OK? Good luck, Drmies (talk) 03:35, 15 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Drmies: looks like my AN thread was archived without being formally closed. Can it be brought back so others may see and comment on it?--Satt 2 (talk) 07:31, 31 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Unbanned edit

Satt 2, you have been unbanned as a result of {{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard#Standard_offer_unblock_request this discussion}}. You are hereby topic banned from all things Georgia (Country) for a period of 12 months. You are formally cautioned that resuming contentious editing will see your editing career being brought to a very quick end. If you have any questions let me know but I strongly advise you that if you have any doubt its better not to commit the post. Spartaz Humbug! 08:02, 3 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Euryalus (talk) 05:14, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Indefinitely blocked per consensus in the above thread at WP:AN. Block appeal options are in the template above. -- Euryalus (talk) 05:14, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Satt2, I'm sorry that I missed the discussion--but I do not see what I could have contributed to it, no matter what my opinion on the various edits might have been. Drmies (talk) 05:06, 13 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
The extents and limits of the topic ban were obvious - it was "all things Georgia"; something easy to understand and not deliberately vindictive (I recall Russia-topic-banned Russavia being forbidden by Sandstein from even uploading a PD photo of a non-Russia-related subject - a street scene in Cuba - just because the photographer had been a Russian citizen). Moreover, the actual content of the edits that breached the ban seem to display the same pov editing aims found throughout Satt2's editing career and the career of all his many socks.
