Speedy deletion nomination of Jobedu

edit

Hello Sarakhalaf,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jobedu for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 14:08, 22 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your note on Jobedu

edit

I responded to you on my page. When you left your note, you inadvertently destroyed part of someone else's note, so I restored that and moved your note to the bottom of the page, but I was afraid that in doing so I might have messed up the response notification feature. So please check out my response on my talk page. Thanks. ubiquity (talk) 20:33, 26 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure that you are not better to start from scratch, the text is so unbelievably spammy, eg Stop by their store for a few gifts to take back home, or to wear around the world and show off your Jordanian style! You will surely get people stopping you to ask where you got the t-shirt or what it means!

If you recreate, you will need to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. That does not include social media, blogs, your own pages or YouTube

You have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. Thank you for declaring your interest. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your organisation is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest.

I am not prepared to email the deleted text because that would reveal my own email address, but I can post an edited version of your text in a user subpage if you think it is worthwhile. Let me know Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:08, 27 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
