Please, stop changing the instances of ى to ي since the spelling is intended to be the customary in Egypt which maintained the traditional shape of the letter that survives even in the most conservative prints like the Coran. --Mahmudmasri (talk) 18:30, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Surely it should be written in MSA as a standard, in order to be comprehensible by all Arabic speakers? However, your comment re: the Quran, would you be able to cite this? I’d like to further read about this, as I was/am unaware. Samih97 (talk) 00:07, 3 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
