Capped cents edit

I don't recall asking for more information on capped cents. It's possible these deserve their own article, but as they are private changes, I'm having trouble believing they have a place in the main Lincoln cent article.--Wehwalt (talk) 21:11, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

I've got to agree with Wehwalt. While these are interesting, they're not part of the official run of the Lincoln cent. Plus, it then opens up the possibility of adding private changes that appear on every other coin to those articles. Almostfm (talk) 03:50, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Central Syria and Mayadin campaigns edit

As you say, the Central Syria and Mayadin campaigns are separate since the first one was only in reference to central Syria (from Hama to Deir ez-Zor). Mayadin is already in eastern Syria. I would in essence agree that the central Syria campaign article should be closed since the Hama/Homs pocket has been cleared. However, since ISIL launched its counter-attack in central Syria while SAA operations were still ongoing as part of the campaign and managed to recapture a portion of the Suknah-Deir ez-Zor highway and Qaryatain, I think we should now maybe close it when and if the SAA recaptures those lost positions, or at least when SAA attempts to recover them end. Would you agree? EkoGraf (talk) 09:35, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
