Source for Ruslan Salei's death?

Per your edit comment here, do you have a verifiable source you can include in the article which confirms Ruslan Salei's death onboard the crashed plane? The four sources currently given confirm that the plane crashed carrying team-members, and that Salei was a member of the team, but not that he was specifically onboard. --PeruvianLlama^(spit) 16:54, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Move of Nikita Schitov to Nikita Shchitov

I can not find any source to verify your preferred spelling for this hockey player's name. Wikipedia must rely upon verifiable sources and the policy of WP:COMMONNAME. As I posted when the page was moved, it fits commonality of others who have an have "shch" in their names (i.E.: Polishchuk, Troshchinskiy, Grebenshchikov, etc.) as shown in various IIHF tournaments and says Shchitov on the back of his KHL jersey. If you still don't believe it, look at the video evidence in the KHL.ru game highlights.

You are to be commended for you diligent work in maintaining the KHL rosters. The matter of your moving articles to unverified name variants is, however, a separate issue. Unless you are able to provide verifiable sources, it must be assumed that you are making the name changes based on original research; and as such, your edits it that regard will continue to be questioned. I shouldn't have to provide you with any more evidence than this. While I will say that not all name variants are accurate when it comes to the KHL (Fyodorov instead of Fedorov, for instance), changing of this name on the Wiki fits the standard -- which has always been interpreted by their North American club or IIHF tournament spelling. As I've already said, in addition to the links provided, this "variant" matches several players who have played in IIHF tournaments as big as the Olympics. I've already provided you "verifiable sources" twice, both in written and visual form. If you don't agree, then do your own research to prove otherwise. As long as this is merely a change for Estonia and Estonia, only, then I don't take much issue with that because the first discussion link you provided actually backs up your claim pretty well. Be aware, of course, that other editors are likely going to question this, as it really is still a matter of one person's view vs. another's on whether it is recognized independently or not post-WWII. However, if you're saying that this should be an around-the-board change for all of the Soviet republics, then I have a big issue with that. (saint0wen (talk) 09:15, 4 February 2012 (UTC))

A distant argument could be made though as wouldn't you say that a person born in Odessa in 1975 was still born in the geographical Ukraine, as a distinct historical region with relatively defined borders always existed, despite being part of the USSR. Training camp rosters

We don't usually update NHL rosters for training camp. During a normal year, that could mean adding more than a dozen names to the list that will only be there for a few days. FlameMoth (talk) 00:20, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Nooo, but in camps, typically a rough concept of what the roster will look like is presented. Considering most teams are carrying about 25-27 players right now, it's not like 30 guys are being added to each template. Which one of the players that I activated are currently in the minors? NONE. I'm not some johnny-come-lately. I've been doing this for years. Look at my user history. Go play police with people that are actually screwing with the templates (i.E.
