Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Sadiqi fatima. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Fatima Sadiqi, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 16:59, 22 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to Fatima Sadiqi. I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). If you have any questions, let me know! :-) You can respond on my talk page, or here. If you respond here, please include {{ping|zackmann08}} in your response so I am notified. --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 16:38, 21 July 2016 (UTC) Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 16:59, 22 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Articles about academics

edit

Hi and thank you for your contributions. Please note that the purpose of wikipedia articles about academics is to impart encyclopedic information about them, not to list their complete CVs. A list of a couple of important publications is acceptable, whereas a complete inventory containing dozens of items definitely isn't. Thank you for your understanding. – Uanfala (talk) 19:45, 22 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for not adding the entire list back, but still you're adding way more than belongs in an encyclopedia article. A short bibliography of solely authored books is just about enough. Anything else is overkill. – Uanfala (talk) 15:30, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
