@SDPLPauline https://www.sandiego.gov/sites/default/files/legacy/stormwater/pdf/SDBay_WQIP_AppendixK_021115.pdf
This source might be useful, if it isn't listed above already. It has information about pollution in the subject's watershed.--RightCowLeftCoast (Moo) 20:01, 27 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Here's that source with the nice pictures, including channelization efforts for decades: "Chollas Creek Dissolved Metals Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Implementation Plan" (PDF). City of San Diego. July 2009. p. 8. Retrieved August 28, 2023.. It's already cited in the main page.--SDPLPauline (talk) 02:43, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Chollas vs Choyas, Worth Etymological Mention?

edit

Should we include a sentence or two about the different spellings (and yet same pronunciation) for Chollas vs Choyas? The Spanish Era paragraph suddenly uses the Choyas spelling. Cheers. -From Peter {a.k.a. Vid2vid (talk | contribs)} 02:51, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think that's a fine thing to include. I found this source which could be useful, but there might be something on the Chollas Creek location page?--SDPLPauline (talk) 20:52, 14 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

When we nominate it, I have done the QPQ as my name will be associated with this. Here is the article I reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/No Highs. I hope this is helpful. RightCowLeftCoast (Moo) 01:48, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
