Nice start on your draft. Some things that could be improved

  • Your lead section should start out by saying what the article is about. Instead of saying "The Mountain Valley Pipeline is a joint venture project" say something more like "The Mountain Valley Pipeline is a proposed 42 inch natural gas pipeline". Make sure that there's nothing in the lead that doesn't already exist in the body of the article.
  • Rely less on the sources that come from the company itself. Sources like www.mountainvalleypipeline.info and (to a lesser extent) the EIS are promotional - they shouldn't be treated the same way that neutral third-party sources are.
  • Have a look at some of the articles in Category:Crude oil pipelines in the United States and Category:Proposed pipelines in the United States for some ideas about layout for the article. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 10:37, 21 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
