Thank you for your feedback, you can upload images through Special:Upload. This link is usually found on the left hand side of the screen under Toolbox. You may also want to read these pages: WP:Picture tutorial, WP:IMAGES, WP:Uploading images and WP:Image use policy.

If you get stuck with anything just ask a question on the help page.
