Proposed deletion of Emobistudio edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Emobistudio, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No indication of notability. Added references are all press releases or advertising article's that do not qualify as Reliable sources.A quick search found no article's that would qualify as a reliable source.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Articles for deletion nomination of Emobistudio edit

I have nominated Emobistudio, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Emobistudio. Speedy deletion nomination of Emobistudio edit

A tag has been placed on Emobistudio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Removing Speedy at Emobistudio edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with Emobistudio. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 09:14, 29 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

On Wikipedia's inclusion criteria edit

Regarding a message you left at the talk page of a deleted article:

  • Wikipedia actually has a fairly narrowly defined set of criteria for accepting a new article about a subject. Those criteria are known as the General Notability Guideline, which can be found at WP:GNG. This isn't really about writing the article wrong; it appears that the company Emobistudio which you have repeatedly tried to create an article about does not qualify for an article at Wikipedia. In order to qualify for an article ANY subject must meet the criteria spelled out at WP:GNG. Specifically, three things MUST be true about the subject (not the writing, which is irrelevent, but the actual real world topic itself):
  • Significant coverage This means that the subject of the article is also the subject of other in-depth works, either a book, newspaper article, magazine article, or similar works. This is the most important thing. The subject requires more than just a one-sentance mention in a newspaper article; basically someone else has to have thought that the subject was worthy of researching and writing about outside of Wikipedia before Wikipedia will accept it as an article. Wikipedia has a higher inclusion standard that "it exists". There basically needs to be enough reliable source material to write a substantial article here. Trivial mentions, such as announcements of performances, or single sentance mentions in articles which are about other subjects, do not really amount to significant coverage.
  • Reliable sources See WP:RS for what constitutes reliable sources. Basically, if the source is respectable and has editorial control, like a book published by a respectable publishing house, a newspaper or magazine with widespread readership and a reputation for reliability, or a peer-reviewed journal, or perhaps a website that is held to the same level of editorial control. Stuff that is not reliable is stuff where anyone can publish information, and no one else needs to check up on it, like web forums, blogs, or other self-published stuff.
  • Independant sources means that the source material is independent of the subject themselves. "Official" websites and other self-published texts may be useful in a limited way to add information to an article, but they cannot be used to establish notability, which is about people outside of the subject of the article, with no vested interest in the subject of the article, having written about the subject.

The thing about your company is, there does not appear to be, outside of Wikipedia, source material that meets all of the above criteria. If there is some part of this you don't understand, or if you need any additional help, please feel free to drop me a note on my talk page, and I will try to help you out! --Jayron32.talk.contribs 03:44, 10 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

regarding this article, it looks like you already have a working copy in your user space at User:Rose718/Emobistudio. Why don't you work on the copy here until it meets Wikipedia standards and then ask me or someone else to review it to see if it is ready to move to the main article namespace. --Jayron32.talk.say no to drama 11:56, 13 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
