Jake LaMotta

edit

You can't base yourself on a Facebook post to add LaMotta's death. Wait for suitable obits and if they don't come it means it's not true. --Folengo (talk) 08:22, 20 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Folengo, That is a 100% real Facebook profile of his daughter. You can see her older posts. he died. it doesn't really matter in such case if and when the mainstream media will write about it. --Ronen7668 (talk) 08:30, 20 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
NO! It's Jake LaMotta, his death would get immediate mainstream coverage! Even if it is true Wikipedia can't base itself on Facebook posts. This profile could have been hacked or somewhat. It is strange no sources (not even one miserable source) reported it several hours after her posts, so it may be not so true or it will be officially announced tomorrow, next week, next month, I don't know. But I know we can not rely on a single Facebook post, @Ronen7668: --Folengo (talk) 08:35, 20 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, you probably right, it is better to wait for an official announcement. --Ronen7668 (talk) 08:43, 20 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
