So Tajinder Singh Virk does not qualify as a public figure? Rockcodder (talk) 09:23, 16 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
No. He is not notable enough to have his Wikipedia article. An Article cannot be created based on sources that consider him WP:SUSPECT Venkat TL (talk) 09:30, 16 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Mail edit

Hello, Rockcodder. Please check your email; you've got mail!
It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template.
@Aleena98: I prefer discussing through user talk pages than through the mail. You wouldn't have a problem with that, would you? Regarding your request, could you specify as to what is it that you require help with? Rockcodder (talk) 20:14, 29 December 2021‎ (UTC)Reply

January 2022 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tek Fog. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Venkat TL (talk) 11:43, 10 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

February 2022 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 2022 Hijab row in Karnataka, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. @Rockcodder your last comment is in the wrong section. Where is the source of your proposed line in the most recent comment. Listing names is not necessary. Venkat TL (talk) 16:13, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Synth violation edit

Please read WP:SYNTH, there were 2 instances of its violation today. I have pointed both instances on the article talk page. Venkat TL (talk) 17:57, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Neo-Nazism in India edit

Hi, Since our to and fro discussion though productive, tends to stretch to great lengths, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Neo-Nazism in India does not allow extended discussions, I will not reply to you on the AfD page. I am not ignoring you. The article content should be discussed on the talk page of the article. AfD is to discuss the WP:Notability. The article meanwhile has been considerably expanded and will be expanded. Thanks for the BBC link, I have added government response too into the section. ARBIPA sanctions alert edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

I take exception your allegation here: "please dont start an edit war".
Your complete edit summary of the revert was: Partially undid revision 1074595211 by Kautilya3 (talk) MOS:LEAD: "significant information should not appear in the lead if it is not covered in the remainder of the article". The body of the article doesn't explicitly attribute the spread to Hindu students wearing saffron shawls. Neither does the TOI article. This is a violation of both WP:OR and WP:NPOV.
Every one of the disputes that arose after the Udupi was due to saffron protesters. Every one. Koppa College, Pompei, Kundapura PU college, Bhandarkar's college, BB Hegde College. Every one of them was "explicitly attributed" to saffron protesters, in the article.
Don't give me this nonsense about WP:OR and WP:NPOV. That was a lousy revert and a POV edit. You have no right to start accusing other people of "edit war". -- Kautilya3 (talk) 21:03, 1 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:51, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
