Rose Water edit

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Rose Water, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Realkyhick 05:34, 16 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Did I do enough to fix it? I could add more... but is it okay (as it is)?

Your recent edits edit

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Editing Help edit

In a recent edit description, you explained "I don't know how to do the thing where you make the small square with the arrow". If you can be a little more specific on what you mean, I'd be glad to give you some tips. Reply on my talk page whenever you get the spare moment. -- Tommy Boy 02:16, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest? edit

In the Rose Water article, an early version identified a "Robert Igoe" as a co-founder of the movement. That appears to match up with your user name. Are you, in fact, writing about a subject with which you had a direct and prominent involvement? If so, you have run afoul of Wikipedia's conflict of interest policies. Realkyhick 04:44, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia's policies do not preclude participants from contibuting... objectivity is the only concern.

Please check the sourcing. User:Robertigoe|Robertigoe]] 19:35, 18 September 2007 (UTC)--Robertigoe 20:51, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you feel that my article is not neutral... please say why.--Robertigoe 08:25, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Your comments about the mayor seem particularly biased, in regards to his appearance and your inference of his state of mind when ordering the arrests. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 16:55, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Much better! I cleaned up a couple of links and did a little style editing. I'll put the references in proper form later. I've removed the {{coi}} tag (even though there still is a conflict of interest, in the strictest technical sense), as the article now has a neutral, encyclopedic tone. Thanks for your work. By the way, where did the name "Rosewater" come from? Just curious. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 02:59, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
No, we respond on the recipient's page, though some users prefer to have the entire discussion on one page and will indicate this on their talk pages. Fascinating story about Rosewater, by the way. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 05:31, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Zouches edit

Robert, this article may be a little over my head. But it definitely needs some more sources. So at the top of the article I put a {{moresources}} tag. I also fixed the links you added. (By the way, when you make edits to an article, don't add your signature/user name. That's only for use on talk pages and such.)

Let's keep an eye on this to see if someone else adds some more sources. I did some searching as well, but I couldn't come up with anything more than you did. Thanks for bringing this article up. Anytime you see articles that need work, feel free to put any appropriate template tags on the article and/or make any improvements you see fit. You can do this just as much as I can. That's the Wikipedia way. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 04:19, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have a question: How are the Zouches related to the House of Rohan? Any info is welcomed. Thank you. :) Rbkl (talk) 17:59, 10 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
