Speedy deletion nomination of Adopen edit

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Adopen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Adopen and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kittensandrainbows (talk) 14:45, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Adopen, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 14:48, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Please leave the maintenance tags in place at the start of the Adopen article. They alert other editors to the problems in the article so they can help improve the article. Once they agree that the problem is fixed, the tags will be removed—just as a removed the speedy deletion tag once I evaluated the article and decided it did not meet the criteria for speedy deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 15:11, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Adopen, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. The maintenance tags and categories are necessary parts of the article. Please leave them in place—the former to let other editors know the article needs help so they can contribute, and the latter so the article can be found by other editors looking for articles on Turkish manufacturing companies. —C.Fred (talk) 15:18, 24 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Adopen edit

The article Adopen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Insufficient demonstrated notability of the company.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 02:00, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
