Welcome! edit

Some cookies to welcome you! :D

Welcome to Wikipedia, Riveira2! I am Mifter and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Susan Kiger edit

I tried going to the link that you provided in your edit summary. I was asked to join the site and was not allowed to see the video. I did not lie. Secondly, I removed it entirely because without a source I saw it as a violation of WP:BLP. Third, the next time that you want to contact someone, it's best to put your message on their talk page and not their user page. Dismas|(talk) 01:29, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

After looking through the history, I see what must have happened now. I saw this diff on my watchlist and looked at it. I copied the .mpeg link from your edit summary into a new browser window. While waiting for that to load (and probably being distracted by something in the real world (I think I was heating up some lunch at the time)) you made a few more edits that put in a seperate reference. The .mpeg link asked me to join the site and then I went back to the forementioned diff that I had pulled up already in previous window. I hit edit on the previous version of the article and saved that version. I never saw the reference that you added into the text of the article after that first edit. Capicola edit

I've responded to your note on my talk page and made major changes to the Capicola article that I hope you will be pleased with. BillyTFried (talk) 22:12, 4 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Capicola. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. You have continued to remove notable info from the article without consensus on its talk page which already has a section about it. You have not responded in WP:Good faith to attempts at reaching a compromise by altering the info to be more encyclopedic and less trivia-like, and you have added nothing of value to the article other than WP:UNCIVIL comments like "can't you guys get an american wikipedia or something".

Entrecôte edit

You are calling into question a number of the terms used in the Entrecôte article, pointing out that they are not used in the UK. However, nothing in the article stated that the terms were used in the UK. The terms you cited are simply among the terms found in the English language as possible equivalents of the French term "entrecôte", no more. You also introduced the expression "Northern America", which is far from clear (Canada but not the US? Canada and the US but not Mexico?). Can we use the Entrecôte discussion page to sort out what information you're trying to add in regard to "Northern America"? Dcollard (talk) 00:16, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Shaving Gel edit

Okay, if you believe shaving gel is totally separate from shaving cream, then create an article about shaving gel. Until that article exists, however, the information about shaving gel stays on the shaving cream page, as does the information on the gas used as propellant, since both facts are relevant and referenced. Once you create the shaving gel page, feel free to remove the info about it. C1k3 (talk) 02:24, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
