Empire of the Sun

edit

I have removed your recent edits regarding the source of the band's name. Stuart Littlemore has repeatedly stated that the bands name was not derived from the novel or the film, rather that it is based on all the places of empires of the civilization where the sun has been a theme of worship. I am so sorry, I thought Discogs was a trustworthy site!

But that is fascinating.Ritta Margot Clantagenet (talk) 06:55, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Discogs isn't the most reliable site on the web. Whilst it can usually be relied upon for factual information on actual releases I would not say the bios are that acurate. Dan arndt (talk)

I thought the movie title and and the album are of the same typeface, so I did not second guess. I've read the interview now. I will keep these things in mind.Ritta Margot Clantagenet (talk) 07:16, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Ridernyc (talk) 07:16, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am sorry, I have already apologized regarding this.Ritta Margot Clantagenet (talk) 07:21, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
I strongly advise you to stop creating pages, and stop creating redirects. You seem to be new and very inexperienced. I just had to go through your entire edit history and undo many inappropriate edits. If you change one more redirect without proper discussion I will consider it vandalism and report you to ARV. Ridernyc (talk) 07:25, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
OK, I understand. It's hard to find this info in lists and at unexpected names, I will observe others more before I do more, but the link to Uniting Nations is good and the one to Danny Choo is bad. I know of Danny Choo and could create a page, but I will wait.Ritta Margot Clantagenet (talk) 07:32, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Well unfortunately when you make mistakes that appear to be disruptive edits and do not use the edit summary to explain your actions mistakes by the people fixing you errors will be made. Discuss your edits, stop changing redirects, and most importantly start using edit summaries; you have not left a summary for a single edit you have made. Talk pages

edit

I see now you have moved on to removing comments from talk pages with no explanation. Please do not edit other peoples comments on talk pages. Your edits appear to be becoming increasing disruptive despite promises to slow down. Also you still are not using edit summaries Please read WP:ES before making further edits. Ridernyc (talk) 08:12, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sir or Mam, I am not intending to cause disruption. I deleted offensive proselytizing material, it was purely promotional and I assure you it has no place in an encyclopedia, I hope this helps to summarize my edits.Ritta Margot Clantagenet (talk) 08:16, 6 August 2010 (UTC)'Reply

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Your POV edits to Faroe Islands, are totally inappropriate with out proper referencing. Ridernyc (talk) 11:57, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

As I said before disruption is not my intention, please stop mischaracterizing me. My edits are not "POV" and I do have sources. You have given me two of these final warnings, so, I'd be lying if said I wasn't confused. I know you are trying to help, but I don't know what you mean in some of yuor messages to me.Ritta Margot Clantagenet (talk) 19:19, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Cut and paste moves

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give New rave‎ a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. wjematherbigissue 12:45, 6 August 2010 (UTC) Thanks!Ritta Margot Clantagenet (talk) 17:42, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Small town

edit

I have reverted two instances of the inappropriate Small town link being added to small towns in England. I am assuming this was done inadvertently. Please will you check links before adding, thanks.--Harkey (talk) 09:44, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
