This is brilliant edit

Love Monopolly and its early historic anti-capitalist mode...can someone give me intro into this? --Zblace (talk) 20:25, 10 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Zblace: of course! I happened upon @Ritchie333:'s user page and noticed this project he had undertaken for the London edition of the Monopoly board (which was inspired by a book written about all the places mentioned on it) and I thought it was an amazing way of prioritising or breaking down how to document a series of landmarks and streets. I had been looking at the poor coverage of Dublin places before, and I suggested that working on the original 1973 Irish edition Monopoly board could be fun, and thankfully Ritchie agreed! It has proved a bit harder to find the source materials for Dublin, and I keep getting distracted creating and improving pages that are *not* included on the official board, but it is a fun long-term project to have going on in the background. @Ritchie333: @Smirkybec: without understanding how this is done in practice, my first choice of method of collaboration in development would for sure not be EN Wikipedia, but rather keep it for presentation phase - while maybe focusing on WikiData entries only. Would you consider doing it in WikiSpore as WikiPoly.WikiSpore.org maybe where it would have its own subdomain and namespace from the start! (could help with this and ask others to help, as well as start one new instance in non-EN language country, but accessible to all via WikiData ;-) --Zblace (talk) 06:13, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dublin itself edit

Hey @Ritchie333: and @SeoR:, I just noticed that the article on Dublin itself is only a B - might be something to think about as well as we try and get a few more articles upgraded? Smirkybec (talk) 20:44, 19 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Grafton Street edit

Smirkybec and SeoR - I have recently nominated Grafton Street for GA, as I finally think it's in reasonable enough shape and comprehensive enough. I aim to get some "on the ground" experience in a few weeks. :-) Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:25, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Great stuff! If any support / sourcing needed, I'll be standing by. And very welcome for the OTG experience :-) SeoR (talk) 11:28, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Fantastic work! I agree that it is probably in good enough shape for this nomination. I might have a few more small details to add from my teetering pile of Dublin history books! Smirkybec (talk) 11:32, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
