Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Rind Baloch! I am Trafford09 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. Thank you for your contributions. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

I have edited some changes of Mr.Green made in the Balochistan, Pakistan of the Notable people of main article, he included most of Ministers etcm which understand that only ministership is not the criteria for to be Notable, so please it must not be consider as Vandalism,--Rind Baloch 05:40, 19 August 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rind Baloch (talkcontribs)

Rind Baloch initially added this section to an inappropriate page (see their user contributions). I've moved it to here, and will alert the other (reverting) user that this section exists. Trafford09 (talk) 07:37, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for you interest, --Rind Baloch 08:43, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

No problem. By the way, it looks like you are typing out your signature every time, rather than using the tools.
Please read the top section on this page, re auto-signing. Regards, Trafford09 (talk) 10:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Once again many thanks for your assistance (Rind Baloch 10:51, 19 August 2010 (UTC))

My pleasure. Note: to indent your comments, use a : not a ; (this is a small matter).
And I don't think you understand signing - just type your message, then don't sign but instead type in four tildes, like this ~~~~
Then it will add your signature in red, not black, and it will add the time stamp.
Try it out by testing it here: User:Rind Baloch/RBsOwnSandox

Want a sandbox ?

edit

Hi Rind Baloch. I think you may want to have a personal sandbox to practice your editing skills. I find it very useful and convenient to have one. You can create it by clicking on this link and then going ahead as it says. User:Rind Baloch/sandboxIf you want, I can also create it for you. In that sandbox, you can generally do almost anything that you want, as long as it is not problematic to someone else..-Civilizededucationtalk 07:54, 25 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Created and placed the sandbox on your userpage as requested by you on my talk page.-Civilizededucationtalk 09:12, 25 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Signature problems

edit

Hi there. I noticed you've been having problems 'signing' (I saw your message on Trafford09's talkpage), so;

Maybe something is wrong in your settings;

  • Click on "my preferences"
  • Remove anything in the Signature: box, so it is empty
  • Make sure the checkbox underneath, which says Treat the above as wiki markup, is not checked
  • 'Save', and then try signing, by editing this page any just typing in ~~~~

Hopefully, it will then make a signature with your username and talkpage (with links to them), and the date and time, like - for example - Example user (talk) 18:07, 28 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Note, if you try it here on your own talk page, the link to your 'talk' will be in bold, rather than a link; you might want to try it in WP:SANDBOX instead.

You can also sign by clicking the 'sign' button, pictured to the right.

If you have any further trouble (or for any other questions), please try asking in live help.

Best,  Chzz  ►  18:07, 28 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Notable people

edit

I don't understand why you have added a long list of people again in Balochistan, Pakistan, despite our objections and my detailed explanation of why most of those articles are very poorly written. There is a sad tendency in Indian and Pakistani articles for people to keep adding to these kind of lists, because they don't understand the criteria of notability. Even if you add such a list in good faith, I guarantee that within days the list will expand because other people will feel that their "favourite" person needs to be on this list and eventually the list will be out of control. I am going to remove the list and ask that you refrain from adding them again. If you feel that any single person is worthy of mention, I suggest you find an appropriate place for them within the other sections but bear in mind that the onus is on you to prove that they need to be included. Green Giant (talk) 11:57, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, absolutely. The people lists are not required in article space. Why won't you make a separate "people list" like this List of Albanians?-Civilizededucationtalk 17:15, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Amanullah Nasir

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Amanullah Nasir requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Epeefleche (talk) 00:29, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
