Johannes Benzing edit

Hi, You added two sentences to the above article. Both of these statements need to be referenced with verifiable source. If there is not references added in the next couple of days I will need to revert the article to the previous version. I saw these originally when I was writing the article, but couldn't find any reference for it. Perhaps you can. I don't want to whitewash the article, and it's almost certain he was in the Nazi party, although some academics and cryptographers weren't, but it needs to be sourced. scope_creep (talk) 00:22, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, My additions were based on the entry in the German Wikipedia, as per the comment for my edit. I shall copy the references across from the German page. Thanks, Ricky22p (talk) 17:07, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, You do surely know, as these are major historical points of reference, when the article is copyedited sometime in the next few weeks/months, these statement will almost certainly get taken out. They are not backed up by any sources on the German WP. Just because they are on another WP doesn't mean they can be automatically transferred across. Best way to source it, would be to try and find his location in the nazi party archive. scope_creep (talk) 18:40, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
