Edits to Claude Lilly

edit

Hi there! Thanks for your recent edits to the Claude Lilly article. I just have a couple concerns that I wanted to bring to your attention. I am inclined to believe that you may have a conflict of interest regarding the subject of the article, given that you created your account today at 12:51 p.m. and made your first of five edits (all to this article) five minutes later. Are you the subject of the article or closely related to the subject of the article in any way? Thanks, PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 20:34, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Dr. Lilly, thanks for your attempts to improve Wikipedia. There are no copyright violations alleged, just a conflict of interest. WP:Autobiography states that Editing a biography about yourself is acceptable only if you are removing unambiguous vandalism or clear-cut and serious violations of our biography of living persons policy, and your edits do not qualify. In my view, your edits do not maintain WP:Neutral point of view, which is one of Wikipedia's core content policies. I'm going to revert the edits you've made, just for now, and I'd be happy to restore them if you can provide me some reliable secondary sources that support them. Thanks again! (Also: you can respond on this page, under my latest message, so that we can keep the conversation all in one place, and make sure you remove the "nowiki" tags around the tildes so that your signature can properly render.)
