What is the proper way to tag vandalism? I've been patrolling the Recent Changes section, and I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing when I find vandalism.

All you have to do is revert the vandalism and warn the user (see Wikipedia:Vandalism#Warnings for more details). Please let me know if you need any more help. Cheers, --The High Fin Sperm Whale 03:27, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
You would undo their edits, add an appropriate warning on their user talk page, and - if they'd already had warnings - report them on WP:AIV.
All of which is much easier if you use twinkle - please have a read of Wikipedia:Twinkle/doc#warn, and try enabling 'twinkle' in your 'preferences', 'gadgets'.
For more help, you may want to talk to us live, with this or this.  Chzz  ►  03:30, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
Actually, Redeyeglasses already has twinkle. --The High Fin Sperm Whale 03:36, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
I was asking because I saw something about "rollback permission," and I wanted to make sure that I wasn't doing anything wrong. Redeyeglasses 15:28, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Rollback is a tool that helps you to revert vandalism faster. Anyone can revert it, though. Also twinkle has its own version of rollback (three in fact). --The High Fin Sperm Whale 03:47, 10 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
